The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) is a standardized test that is a prerequisite for getting admission into an MBA program. Some universities also accept the GRE test in lieu of the GMAT but GMAT remains the most widely accepted test for gaining acceptance into a top business school.

The GMAT is conducted year-round and the cost to take the test is US $250. Digital only: GMAT is a computer based test. For those who are not used to giving online exams, it can be a challenge on test day. Try to practice on online learning portals to get used to it.

Educated guess: To manage time better, you can eliminate the most unlikely answers instead of racking your brain for the right one. In some quant questions, an answer range can be estimated and unlikely answers quickly eliminated to save time.

Aim higher: If you require a score of 700 to get admission into your dream college, aim for a 750 score while practicing. In the stressful exam conditions, you might not be able to perform to your best potential.
