Everything You Need to Know About the Geography and Nature of Israel

A country in Southwest Asia, Israel sits between the Arabia and Syria deserts and the Mediterranean. The Jordan Valley has two different major lakes: The Kineret and the Dead Sea, which is the lowest elevation found on earth. To the east, you have the Golan Heights region, which is a hilly part of Israel. A little north of Golan Heights, you have Mt. Hermon, which is the highest peak in Israel.

Israel has always had a subtropical region that includes two different seasons: You have the dry and hot summer season, and during the winter, you have the wet winter period. Israel has a lot of different influences that serve a role in altitude and distance from the sea. The climate varies, and you have a choice between swimming at the Bay of Eilat and skiing on Mt.
