The Mortal Kombat name needs no introduction as everyone around the globe knows its legacy. A gaming brand in the gaming market that is almost 27 years old and continues to higher its standards. In the last April, the game’s 11th version was released, and the fans throughout the world loved it. As a matter of fact, the Mortal Kombat 11 team has hinted gamers about the addition of several DLC characters from their trailers. The rumors say that the DLC characters are probably going to be added from the DC comics.

Apart from that, the fans are going crazy after hearing these rumors and are demanding to add Superheroes from the DC lineup. As we all know that Batman and Superman are the two most famous DC superheroes, but there are also a lot of other heroes in the DC lineup that would look perfect in the Mortal Kombat 11. The new DLC characters of Mortal Kombat includes six characters: Spawn, Sindel, Nightwolf, Joker, Shang Tsung, and Terminator. The addition of the Joker made fans more excited and crazy. Still, the interview ruined the mood of the fans after hearing Director ED Boon saying that Batman and Superman will never be added to Mortal Kombat 11.

The reasons behind DC’s no clearly states that the two heroic DC Superhero characters do not match the trait of the game, as they never kill anyone. As we have seen in their film and read in the comics that Batman never killed Joker, he can, but he never did, and the similar morals are applicable to Superman as he never kills the Lex Luthor. It’s very hard for us to even think about Batman and Superman are killing someone; they just do not suit this criterion. It is really hard to imagine that any Mortal Kombat character is capable of killing these two. Although the killing and deaths are quite normal in the DC world, the objective behind it is always shocking and emotional as in real life. Still, in Mortal Kombat, the reasons behind the deaths are humorous and brutality.

Joker finds humor and relief in killing anyone, so he matches the criteria of Mortal Kombat 11. Adding a villain in the game is more suitable than adding heroes as discussed above as the game’s objective matches the trait of villains character, not the heroes. If a thought of adding a DC hero in Mortal Kombat arose in the fan’s mind, then maybe we will see a DC hero in the Mortal Kombat line up soon. There are some DC heroes options that Mortal Kombat can add in their game, such as Shazam, Aquaman, and Wonder Woman. Diana aka Wonder Woman would be the most popular choice from this list.

Wonder Woman is the princess from the Amazon, and several gods gifted her with great powers. If she is added to the Mortal Kombat, then she would use her plethora that is full of magical components and weapons to conquer other Kombatians. Her best weapon is the Sword Of Athena, which can even cut the atoms, and her bracelets can deflect any attacks as it is built from the Zeus’s Aegis shield.

She was ranked after Batman and Superman making it seem like she is the third most popular DC superhero. She is the best option for the Mortal Kombat team for the DLC character concept. The idea seems really great, but it depends on the NetherRealm Studios, Warner Bros, and DC comics. The news for the Kombat pack 2  will be announced next year and until then we all have to wait and see whether the devs think about Wonder Women Character DLC to Mortal Kombat or not. Although the DLC initiative led by Mortal Kombat is a great step and will see how the villains of DC’s will appear and fights in this game.
