Essential details about the SNAP paper pattern

SNAP (Symbiosis National Aptitude Test) is a gateway for all the management aspirants to grab a seat in the Symbiosis institutes. If you are planning to appear for a management entrance test, then SNAP examination can be the key to success. You can appear for SNAP examination and choose a preferred management program according to your choice. Clearing SNAP examination in the first attempt is easier if you prepare well for it. Experts advise that candidates should be familiar with the SNAP exam pattern

  • Significant details of the SNAP 2019 exam pattern 

  • There will be 3 sections (Verbal Ability and Reading Comprehension, Data Interpretation and Data Sufficiency and Analytical and Logical Reasoning) in the SNAP examination.

  • This online-based examination will consist of 110 questions. Test-takers have to answer all the questions within 120 minutes (2 hours).

  • The VA and RC section will consist of 34 MCQ based questions carrying a weightage of 51 marks. In VARC sections, every correct answer carries 1.5 marks.

  • In DA and DS section, there is total of 40 questions. Students have to answer 35 MCQ and 5 special questions. Students answering correct MCQ answer will gain 1 mark each. On the other hand, 2 marks are rewarded for every correct special answer.

  • SNAP also follow negative marking scheme. Therefore students should attentively answer all the questions. 

SNAP 2019 will have several tricky questions. Hence you should be familiar with the SNAP exam pattern before planning your strategy. Appearing for mock tests will help you to get a clear picture of the SNAP paper pattern.
