Entrance Exam by AKTU

About the exam-

Dr.APJ Abdul Kalam Technical University commonly known as AKTU will conduct UPSEE for  candidates seeking admissions to B.Tech in various colleges of Uttar Pradesh have to appear for this exam. Applications for the entrance exam are likely to be announced in fourth week of February. Admissions to various seats of the course are allotted on the basis of merit list prepared on the basis of the result of the entrance exam. It is a state level exam which is known as Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination.

Eligibility Criteria-

•         Candidates should have studied Physics and Mathematics as the main subjects in 12^th class from a recognized school.
  
•         Candidates must have scored a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate in class 12^th who belongs to general category and those who belong to reserved categories like SC/ ST/ OBC are required to score a minimum of 40% marks in aggregate in class 12^th.
  
•         The Candidates who are appearing for class 12^th presently can also apply for the UPSEE entrance exam.
  

Important Dates-

•        Application form will be released in the month of February, 2017
  
•         Last date to apply for the entrance exam in the month of March, 2017
  
•         Correction window will be open in the month of April, 2017
  
•         Last date for making the correction is in month of April, 2017
  
•         Admit Cards will be released in the month of April, 2017
  
•         Exam will be held in the month of April, 2017
  
•         Result will be declared in the month of May, 2017
  
•         Counseling will initiate in the month of June, 2017
  

Process to apply for Exam-

The application form the entrance exam will be made available in the month of February, 2017 in both online and offline mode. Candidates can apply for the entrance exam in both online and offline modes. The application fee for the entrance exam for the general category is Rs.800 whereas that of reserved categories and girls is Rs.400. The payment of fee for the entrance exam can be done through net banking or with the help debit or credit card. No matter the candidate fills the form online or offline, it is mandatory to submit the hard copy of the form.

Exam Pattern-

•          The exam paper will be available in both languages namely Hindi and English
  
•          Every question in the question paper comprises of 4 marks
  
•          There is no negative marking done for any wrong answer in this exam
  
•          There are total of 12 question papers for this entrance exam
  

Admit Card-

The admit card for the entrance exam is going to be released on the official website of the entrance exam in the month of April, 2017 in second week. The candidate can download the admit card from official website for appearing the exam.

Result-

The result of the entrance exam will be declared on the official website of the entrance exam in the month of May, 2017 in third week. Candidates have to check their results on official website.
