Ensure you have got the right steel pipe welding process

For stainless steel pipe, it requires 75/25 percent argon/helium during the production process. And here are different operations for that, we can have a clear analysis for that.

First method is that we can set up a separate tank of argon and a separate tank of helium and then rely on flow regulators to bleed in the proper amount of shielding gas.

However, there is a trouble for that. We don’t know what we’re doing in a mix with the first method. For most manufacturers, they may don’t know what’s exactly in it.

Under this situation, buying cylinders of mixed gas from reliable sources, or buying a proper mixer, will ensure you know exactly what you’re shielding your weld with and that you’re adhering to proper weld procedures/qualifications.
