Embroidery and Cloth Printing

Cloth Printing is a very tough job to do. When the clothes are made. The toughest part is to print the clothes. Printing is a different job then sewing and stitching a cloth. Printing involves a greater technique and is more difficult. Printing clothes is only done by specialized technicians because they have all the knowledge regarding the printing the clothes. Specifically clothes printing refer to such kind of printing in which colors are applies to the cloth o the fabric in definite shapes and definite patterns. These coloring techniques require special skills and expertise to handle with care.

Printing Clothes

Dyeing is different from printing in a way that in dyeing the whole of the cloth is dyed in a specific color. Moreover, dying involves less techniques than the printing of a cloth. There are some specific tools and materials required for the printing process. For printing colors, dyers, mordant, thickeners, are required. These materials are the prime requisites for starting a printing process. These are required so that the printing done does not comes off, or does not fade with a single machine wash. Printing on clothes is taken as a hard and tough job to do and only special technicians are appointed to carry out the process. Printing is of many types depending upon the cloth to be printed. Only cloths with a special fabric are printed, because the printing process involves certain techniques in which the cloths not designed for printing may tear off.

Stages of Printing

There are certain stages that are involved that are involved in the printing procedure. These are stated as follows. First of all the cloth or fabric is pre-treated for starting to print on it. Then the specific colors are prepared which are to be imprinted on the cloth. For printing process specific colored printing paste is prepared by adding thickeners, colors and other printing related chemicals. Printing methods are then applied for on the cloth. After this method the fabric or the cloth is dried up by special heaters to make the print permanent. The print is made permanent by hot air or with steam. There are some after process treatments that ae necessary to carry out in order to make the print look accurate and eye catching. This requires a stretch of time.

Embroidery

Embroidery is a technique which is used to decorate and adorn the dress using the needles and threads. Different colors of threads ae used to make embroidery on the Clothing Embroidery.  Mostly embroidery is done on clothes of women. As women like to wear clothes with extra decoration and beauty they wear dress with additional embroideries. Mostly skilled personnel are appointed to do embroidery on the clothes.
