Easy Peasy Yoga Poses to Practice in Office

Sitting for long hours on the office chair is a BIG invitation to neck pain, headache, & stiffness. Thankfully, practicing super easy yoga poses during office hours can relax your body. 


Some people are  not aware of yoga poses that can be easily practiced behind the office desk. That’s why we collaborated with the leading yoga school of Rishikesh to create this post! Read on to discover the best chair and table yoga poses to practice while working in the office.

Neck rolls


People experiencing neck pain often struggle to concentrate on work. Neck rolls help in getting rid of neck pain and releases tension from the neck. Follow below steps to practice this office yoga pose:


  • Close your eyes and drop your chin to your chest.

  • Try to make a circle by rotating your neck. 

  • Make sure to relax your shoulders.

  • Practice these rolls 3 to 4 times for one side and then make a circle to the other side.


Cat-Cow stretch


This office yoga pose is also known as Chakra    vakasana. One of the best yoga poses to practice while sitting on a chair, it helps in improving the body posture. Below steps will help you in practicing Cat-Cow starch:


  • Sit on a chair with feet flat on the floor.

  • Put your hands on your knees.

  • Stretch your back while inhaling.

  • Repeat this 3 to 5 times for relaxation.


Seated spinal twist


Seated spinal twist helps in getting rid of back pain and also improves digestion. It is one of the easiest yoga poses to practice while sitting on a chair. Follow below tips to practice this yoga pose in right way:


  • Put your both feet flat on the floor while sitting sideways.

  • Hold the back of your chair with your hands.

  • Twist your waist towards the back of the chair.

  • Now, practice this to the other side and practice this yoga pose three to five times.
