Earrings to Complement the Shape of your Face
Most women tend to give little attention to the face shape while shopping for earrings. It usually goes like ‘hey I like these chunky chandelier earrings, I’m gonna buy this!’ and one swipe later you are walking away with your recent possession.
And later when you put them on, somehow it just doesn’t fit. You are staring in the mirror with chandelier earrings dangling from your ears and then go blehh it’s not looking good!
The poor chunky chandelier earrings are stowed away in a sad little corner.
Your face shape does influence how accessories look on you. Just like a heavy neckpiece does not flatter an apple body shape, certain earrings just doesn’t look right on you.
Square Face Shape
For square face shaped beauties, the forehead, chin, and jaw line are of equal width.

Look for more statement earnings that are on the broader side. Even big hooped earrings work well for this face type.

Hear Shape Face
This is the cutest face shape. People who have a tapering chin and equal forehead and cheek width should opt for more of dangling earrings with a wider base.

Chandelier earrings and looped pairs with stone settings at the bottom look exceptionally good on this face shape.

Oval Face Shape
If you have wider cheeks and a comparatively narrower forehead along with a tapering chin, you are among the lucky few who have this face shape. Besides every hairstyle looking ramp ready on an oval shaped face, you can also channel any type of earring and it would still look downright amazing on you!
Oblong face shape
The oblong face shape appears longer than it actually is. Choose wide seat earrings to even out the look.

A few Earrings Erring
– Matching chunky earrings with chunky neckpieces. A complete no-no! If you are going bridal heavy on the necklace, stick to subtle earrings that don’t make you look like you have just risen out of a gold mine.
– Only a few women are blessed with a swan neck. Most of us have pudgy minion versions. If you are thick around the neck area or have little gap between your neck and breastbone, opt for smaller earrings to give the illusion of a longer neck.
– Women who are top heavy should also opt for lightweight and smaller accessories. Instead go for a wider hip belt or chunky anklet to take the focus away.
