Mission of ECCE Teacher Training Program:The mission of the Early Childhood Education Program (ECCE) is to prepare reflective, competent and caring professionals and educational leaders who have the knowledge, skill and values required to create exemplary learning environments for young children. We also want to prepare highly qualified practitioners to teach in educational settings based upon Early Childhood Education (ECCE). We do so by providing knowledge that improves professional practice and helps you to attain the industry standards in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE).After completion of this Early Childhood Care and Education Course, you will be able to impact a diverse population of young children and families using research-based, developmentally appropriate practices.ECCE Course Content:The members of our expert panel of ECCE curriculum planners conduct extensive and regular research in the areas of Early Childhood Education, language and literacy, maths and science, social studies, multilingual/multicultural education and learning technologies. They also teach teacher training courses themselves to understand the aspects of practical application of ECCE course content themselves so as to be able to bring about constant improvisation in the Early Childhood Course curriculum. The curriculum of Early Childhood Education Course will introduce you to principles of child growth and development, childhood education practices, child health and nutrition and child psychology. At the same time, it will give you thorough practical information about matters like safety and first aid, setting up and managing a child care centre etc., that can be used while working with young children.Learning Outcomes of Early Childhood Education (ECCE) Program:
On completion of the ECCE course, Teacher Training Diploma recipients will be to do the following :

• Create and maintain a safe and healthy environment for young children as per ECCE.
• Develop relationships with children based on enhancing children's self-esteem, social-emotional development and problem-solving skills according to Early Childhood Care Education.
• Develop and implement developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning environment to meet individual children's needs and group needs as per the standards of ECCE.
• Establish co-operation with parents and other family members of the children as prescribed by ECCE Teacher Training Course.
• Develop personally and professionally, maintaining current knowledge in the field and participating in on-going professional development.
• Employ a variety of contemporary research strategies in the field of Early Childhood Care and Education (ECCE)
