Divorce! Cause of Increasing Dangerous Profanity Among Youth

The rate of divorce is on the increase in our society. As homes break up, children loose the benefit of resident father or mother. The remaining parent, who usually must work, has less time and energy to devote to active growing children who are going through trauma as a result of divorce. Taking a close look around such kind of children, one would discover that there is a general disorder and indiscipline among them.

Children need love and personal attention, but many are not receiving it in the quantities they should have. They need protection from this evil world; but they are exposed to doses of sex, violent and profanity. They see it on television, hear it on the radio and observe it in the lives of adults who have abandoned the traditional values which were once commonly held even by non-Christians.

These children are inheritance from God. Today, more than ever before, they need the attention, love and help of concern Christians and Ministers who understand their deepest needs and who want to help these boys and girls experience the quality of life God intended for them to have. If these children do not have their needs met; if they do not come to the saving knowledge of Christ and learn how to live and grow in Him,there will continually be a new system of violence developed by them because they were not adequately instructed toward the Christian faith before the age of hostility, and from whence will the churches of tomorrow come?

 

The Remedy:

There is a remedy to this issue at hand. This work, Mentoring God's Heritage, has explained the importance of mentoring children so that we can have a better society tomorrow. It is a good and commendable efforts to re-awaken our society particularly parents, families, leaders, teachers and adults alike to their civic responsibility, duty and assignment from God to bring up children, imperatively as role models, in godly manner and in effects, make them useful members of the society.

It has been declared timely in the light of the increasing social ills, deteriorating moral standards, juvenile delinquency, and high rate of unruly, uncultured and ungodly behavior including a dangerously increasing violent disposition by youths now unfortunately rampant and unhealthily prevalent in our present day society.

Notwithstanding its un-broadened referencing; mainly centered on the most precious and valuable book – the Holy Bible, it is a veritable tool for parents, families, institutions, organizations, and the society in their quest to successfully mentor children as God's Heritage.
