There are various steel pipes from seamless steel pipe to stainless steel pipe which can be used for transmission mission. What’s the difference for those pipes? How could we choose them for the engineering work? Today we would have a look at the different categories for water supply steel pipe and drainage pipelines.

Taking building water supply as an example, we will discuss it specifically.

First of all, the building water supply system would be classified with several types. They are living water supply system, production water supply system and fire water supply system. Different application would adopt different steel pipes.

Then, talking about building drainage system. It is another situation we should think about. Due to the nature of the sewage discharged from the system, domestic sewage, industrial waste water and roofing would be main types of sewage. Under this situation, two or more types of combinations in a pipeline are called combined flow systems

According to the different character of engineering project, it is necessary to choose the rightful steel pipe for work.
