Differences between 3D product rendering and 3D product modelling

by FlixStock P. End to end digital image transformation for fashio

Hey, 3D product modeling and rendering are basically two different wings of the same technology, i.e., computer-generated image creation. This technology has recently gained a lot of popularity in the fashion industry and has become an essential part of product development.

The first stage is 3D modeling, wherein, the software creates a model of the shape, size, texture, etc., of the product, only then the product moves to the next stage of development which is 3D rendering. In the rendering stage, the product is given a realistic visual appearance. In this stage, the design team adds features like colour, design requirements, realistic features, etc. After the complete design is finalized, then the product can move to mass production. This way, the retailer doesn’t have to make multiple physical iterations on a physical sample, saving himself a lot of time and money.

Hope this helps!
