Difference of hollow and billet for seamless steel pipe

Holoow, billet, slab, billet centrifugal casting can be classified in hot rolled seamless steel pipe. Today, Threewaysteel pipe company, manufacturer of various steel pipes, would like to have a list for difference of hollow and billet for seamless steel pipe.

Billet: The billet, first processed into the first washing machine, is decreased in front of the ring furnace, and then into the ring furnace.

Hollow: Generally speaking, the furnace for ring blanks in a furnace heated to less than 900 degrees. According to the production process demand, we should have direct heated to hot extrusion temperature (not directly extrusion billet), and then for  vertical induction furnace.

Different production process would have different function on quality of each kind of steel pipe. Clients can choose the rightful one for the engineering project.
