To track a shipment

The most common and easy method to check the status of your parcel is the follow a few simple steps.

·         To track your parcel, you can go to the following link which will direct you to the page in an instant http://www.dhl.co.in/en/express/tracking.html

·         Once this page is open you will see the options asking you which type of service you wish to choose- choose Express Service.

·         Then enter your tracking number into the box shown on the page and click on the button shown there.

·         You can track up to 10 numbers at a time just separate the individual numbers by a comma or enter the numbers again separately.

·         With these steps you can track the real time location of your courier.

Other options to track a shipment

The other options include- DHL eTrack, DHL ExpressWAP and DHL ExpresSMS 

With these other tracking tools it is easy for the customer to choose one service of his liking to track a given shipment. These options provide real time, up to date  information as well.

DHL eTrack

This service is a very handy and useful one. It is customer friendly and can track up to 50 express shipments at a time. All a customer needs to do is have access to an email enabled PC, phone or device. Not only that, there is an option for customers to recieve information in their regional language on their devices.

To use  DHL eTrack service you must have an e mail account. Send an email to DHL services along with your waybill number. You can send up to 50 at a time. If you've received an email containing the waybill number you want to track, forward it to DHL and the system will automatically find it within the text and send you a reply.

You will see that a reply message is returned to you after sometime. This reply contains your realtime shipment tracking information.

DHL ExpresSMS

This is a good option for those customers who have only a single shipment to track. All that is needed is a mobile phone. Internet access in not required.

You have to just text DHL Express the waybill number and they will respond with the status within seconds.

Select the SMS menu on your mobile phone and SMS   'DHL TRACK ' to 53456.In a some time, you should a return SMS message with the details of your shipment.

If you  indicate your mobile phone number when preparing your shipment you can recieve real time locations instantly.

DHL ExpressWAP

Any WAp enabled device can be used to track your shipments through this method.The method is fairly simple- enter www.dhl.com on your WAP phone

Select the “Tracking” option and scroll down to enter the waybill number of the shipment you want to track. You can select out of the 21 languages avaiable which you can view there. The results will be given to you in the language you have chosen. Now click the button “Track” to get your shipment information.
