Mudra Institute of Communication (MICA) has started with the online registration for admission exam on September 30th, 2016. The interested candidates who want to Postgraduate Diploma in Management  and Communication (PGDM-C) program have to appear for any one of exams, namely, CAT 2016 or XAT 2017 or should have GMAT score 2015 onward. The candidates are required to appear for MICA test as well. This test is held twice every year. Presently, the candidates can fill the exam-1 application form. The last date to apply for Exam-1 is November 25th, 2016. Exam–1 is going to be held on December 11th, 2016, and Exam-2 will be held on February 12th, 2017.

MICA will be organizing the MICA in 27 cities of the India. The cities have been listed below where the MICAT Entrance Exam will be held as-

EXAM PATTERN-

The entrance test for MICA will be held as aComputer Based test with both subjective and objective questions. The test will comprise of logical reasoning, analytical reasoning, verbal ability, General Awareness and divergence of thinking skills to examine candidate ability. The entrance test will have a unique type of test known as the Psychometric test. The entrance paper is composed of two booklets, which are given in detail as below-

·         Test Booklet 1 – This booklet have two parts. First part is comprised of around 100-120 questions which are Multiple Choice Questions. There is negative marking of 0.25 for every wrong answer and Part 2 comprises of a total of 2 descriptive questions.

·         Test Booklet 2 – This booklet comprises of 3 sections in all and the questions are descriptive in nature. For this booklet it is mandatory for the candidates to complete all the questions as in case of failing to do so the answer sheet will not be examined and evaluated.

ADMIT CARD-

The MICA admission entrance exam Admit card will be made available online on the official website of the Institute. It should be noted that the Admit Card will be issued only to those candidates who have successfully completed and submitted their application form. The admit card is a mandatory document and the candidates need to produce the admit card to the invigilator in the exam hall. In case of failing to produce the admit card, the candidates will not be permitted to appear for the exam. The Admit card for MICA Test will contain the detailed information of the candidate and the exam and the venue as well.

RESULT-

The result will provide the names of the shortlisted candidates for the processes to be carried for admission. Result will be available online on official website of the Institute on March 31. MICA will also be sending a mail to the candidate after getting shortlisted. These shortlisted candidates need to submit a DD of Rs. 50,000/- for the pre-admission process.
