Now, we found the cutting board are
used in our kitchen as a regular tool, whatever it is to cut vegetables, meat,
fruit or other cooked foods, cutting boards make our cooking more sample and
efficient, it is the tools that most handy products for our kitchen, we will
find them in various of materials. The most common material is plastic or wood,

Clean a Cutting Board:
There are many argue say people
always obsesses when choosing the plastic vs wood cutting boards, someone thinks, plastic
board is more prone to bacteria, because it's surface is not porous, but
compared to wooden type, it has not enough condition to reproduce when bacteria
penetrate into the surface, while, wooden board are quite different, because it
was a natural material, bacteria are more prone to increase and increase when
it get into the surface. in another reason, plastic board is normally made of
chemosynthesis material, manufacturers like to add anti-bacterial additives
into the board, which can help killing the bacteria promptly, but wood board
can’t do it like plastic. But I can’t recommend which choice is better,
perhaps, different person have different idea in choosing plastic or wooden
board,
Wooden Boards
There are variety of woods used in
making chopping boards. Out of them, the most popular one is maple woodcutting board. However, regardless of
which wood is used to make the chopping block you own, the following cleaning
tips should be administered.
•To clean, place drain stopper in
the kitchen sink and fill it halfway with hot water. Wear rubber gloves and add
2 squirts of dishwashing soap.
•Use one hand to mix the soap in
water properly and place the board in. Take a Scotch-Brite and scrub the
surface of the board.
•Once done, unplug the stopper so
the soapy water drains. Turn the hot water tap on and rinse the board
thoroughly.
•To sanitize, again place the
stopper and fill the sink halfway with hot water. Mix in 1 tablespoon chlorine
bleach with the water.
•Submerge the wooden board
completely in the bleach water and leave it in for about 10 minutes. Rinse
under hot water and leave the board in the sun to dry completely.
•If you don't want to use bleach,
then add some lemon juice into the hot water and submerge the wooden board in
it.
•Rinse the board properly, let it
dry completely, and then use it.
