It's that time of year when all the fitness magazines we get six pack packages in our face and the promise of an exercise regimen to help you get your own

What is the fast Cardio?

In a nutshell, is to do cardiovascular exercise, while your body is in a fasting state. To me, this is more easily accomplished out on the run in the morning. Here is the biological part, in a nutshell ... when our bodies are in this state of fasting, carbohydrate levels are depleted and therefore insulin levels in the blood are low - this helps fat oxidation.

Common sense - our bodies turn to fat stores (and somewhat unfortunately muscle tissue) in order to create the energy needed for exercise. Numerous studies have shown that high insulin levels inhibit fat burning. No wonder that boxers, weightlifters and six-pack hunters have been exercising like this for many decades.

A word of warning ...

The first point to note is that it is obvious that the exercise on an empty stomach is not suitable if you are not comfortable (ie, strong / energy) to do

so. Second, if they are likely to have a session less productive, then maybe you would benefit a few calories intake (eg, a banana pre-workout) before

exercise.

Previous studies have shown that exercise groups, in fact, have burned more calories when you work after eating than without eating because they can work

harder and longer. It makes sense if we think that professional athletes rarely would do with your energy out!
