CTET Result 2016 – CTET (Central Teacher Eligibility Test) 2016 is carried twice in a year, i.e., firstly in February and secondly in September. Now, CBSE, the exam conducting body will release the CTET Result 2016, post conducting the exam for Haryana state. There has been delay in the declaration of Result because the exam in Haryana State is yet to take place. As per the recent announcement made by the CBSE, the postponed exam will now be conducted on 8 May 2016. The result of CTET 2016 is most likely to be declared in the 4th week of May 2016. In order to access the result, candidates need to submit the Roll Number.

Steps to Check the CTET Result 2016

The following steps to check the CTET Result 2016 online are given here and must be followed exactly in the same order:

1.    Visit the link that will be hosted on our site.
2.    Enter the particulars such as Roll Number in the given space.
3.    Click on the ‘Submit button’ and the requested result of CTET 2016 (showing the marks obtained by the candidates in each subject as well as total marks) will appear on the screen.

Criteria for Issuance of Certificate for CTET 2016 Result

As per a notification issued in this regard, in order to get the certificate for CTET 2016 Result, a candidate has to score at least 60% marks in CTET exam. In other words, one must attain at least 90 marks out of 150 marks so as to be an eligible candidate. Therefore, a candidate fulfilling the above criteria will be eligible to get the CTET certificate.

This certificate will enable the candidate to enjoy first priority as far as the recruitment process is concerned. Though, it must be kept in mind that merely getting this certificate doesn’t guarantee the right for employment. The holder just gets an access for the appointment in various government and privately owned institutions.

CTET 2016 Certificate – Validity Period

After passing in the exam, the Certificate received for the CTET will remain valid for 7 years from the date of the announcement of the result.

Analysis of Previous Years’ CTET Result


CTET was first held in 2011. Around 8 lakhs candidates sat in the exam. The data says that only 9% of these candidates could get through. There hasn’t been much improvement in the pass percentage since then.
