It is a well-recognized fact that qualified teachers play a key role in providing quality education to students. A good teacher is not only expected to have knowledge of substantive areas and content but is also required to have pedagogic skill. In an effort to recruit competent teachers across central government schools and other aided and unaided schools in India, the Ministry of Human Resource Development of the Government of India introduced the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET) to monitor and evaluate in greater depth the knowledge and skills of candidates who are being recruited to the post of teachers in these schools. The national level eligibility test which is conducted under the direction of the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is held twice every year, usually in the months of February and September. While the first CTET for the year was held on 22 February 2015 and the results for the same have already been declared, the second round of CTET was conducted on 20 September 2015. The CTET September Result is still awaited and is expected to be declared shortly. The official answer keys and the OMR sheets for the test have, however, been released and is available for the download of candidates on the CTET and CBSE websites now. If the latest rumors are anything to go by, the CTET 2015 Result will be announced by the end of this month. As the results are close at hand, it is important for candidates to make sure that they know how to access the CTET Result online. So along with detailed instructions to help candidates check the results of the CTET Exam online, in this article we provide candidates with some key insights into the results of the national level eligibility test.

Key Insights into the CTET September Result:

  • The minimum percentage criteria for the CTET Exam is 60 percent. Candidates who do not meet this minimum cut-off requirement will not be eligible to acquire the CTET Pass Certificate.
  • The CTET Score Card/Mark Sheet is likely to be dispatched to candidates in the month of November 2015. Only candidates with the minimum qualifying percentage of 60 percent will be issued the CTET Qualifying Certificate.
  • The validity of this qualifying certificate that is issued by the CBSE will extend for over a period of seven years from the date of its issuance.
  • Candidates who qualify the CTET are eligible to apply for the post of primary or elementary level school teacher in any of the Central Government schools, Schools of the NCT of Delhi, Schools under the administrative control of UTs and /or any other private unaided schools that are willing to accept the CTET scores.

Guidelines for checking the CTET 2015 Result online:

  • To get started, students will have to access the main web page of CTET or CBSE before anything else.
  • Once the corresponding web page has been found and opened, candidates will be able to locate the link to the results of the CTET September 2015 Exam instantly.
  • On opening the related link, candidates will be prompted for some access details such as their CTET Roll Number and/or Registration Number.
  • Soon after the required details have been typed in and submitted, candidates will be able to view their results for the CTET September 2015 Result.
