CTET 2016 Result Will be Declared in April 2016

The Central Board of Secondary Education conducts the Central Teacher Eligibility Test (CTET), which is held two times in a year. This year CTET 2016 for paper 1 & 2 has been conducted on February 2016. The examination was held in Offline mode, at various centers across the country and the candidates who wrote the exam now await the CTET Result. The CTET 2016 Result will be published by the CBSE online. The candidates who will pass the exam will qualify to become teachers in Delhi government schools. The candidates will be able to check the CTET Exam Result online. The Result of CTET is expected to be published on the official website of the CTET. The candidates who wish to check the result can visit the official website of the CTET. The CTET Result is expected to be released in April 2016. 

Check CTET 2016 Result 

  • The first step is to visit the official website of the CTET.
  • Then click on the link indicating ‘CTET Result’.
  • Enter the details asked.
  • Make sure you check the details entered before clicking on ‘submit’.
  • You will now be able to view the result. 

CTET 2016 Selection Process

  • The candidates are required to score 60% marks or more in order to qualify the exam. 
  • There is a relaxation in the cut off marks given to reserved categories which goes up to 5% marks. 
  • The relaxation of marks is applicable to SC/ST/OBC/Differently Able categories. 
  • Only the candidates who pass the exam with the required marks will be given their mark sheets. 
  • The validity of the of the CTET certificate is up to 7 years from when the CTET 2016 Result is declared. 
  • The candidates can attempt to write the exam multiple times and there is no restriction on the number of attempts. 
  • There is an option for the candidates who have already qualified the exam to write the exam again to improve their scores from before. 
  • The CTET Certificate will enable the candidate to be eligible for teaching jobs in government schools. 
  • There has been no official notice related to CTET 2016 Result is being issued by the CBSE or CTET yet.
  • The CTET Result 2016 is to be released in the month of October or November this year.
