In normal human beings there are almost 80 nodal points.

This recognition technology is not only used to identify criminals but can be used in other fields also. The areas where the technique of facial recognition can be used are:

·         The security system of any offices especially those which are of high importance can use this technique.

·         The airport authority which is a place of high risk as it is the entrance for immigrants and tourists can use this technique for security reasons. The criminals or the terrorists from other areas enter through these points in disguise.

·         In casinos and in the public gatherings this technique can be used to detect the individuals who are attempting any social scams or crimes.

·         In visa processing, in voter ID cards and in the shopping malls these techniques can be used.
