First measure the space where wardrobe can be fitted into.800 mm in the minimum space anyone required for two door wardrobe and for the sliding one your room should have a minimum 6ft spar space

However if you have a small space, it would be good to have a wardrobe with sliding door as it won’t’ take any space to open its door unlike hinged door wardrobe. Hinged door take minimum 30mm space to open its door.

Ideal size
The average size of a wardrobe is considered to be 7-8 ft, any other size be it higher or lower than this can affects its functionality and storage capacity.
Opt for loft if your require more storage space .Though it is not advisable to have loft if you are opting for sliding wardrobe as it can’t  bear more weight.
Opt for 2 ft depth if you have heavy dresses to hang like saris or coats otherwise use the folding space for your clothe  if  not comfortable with the hanging and 1.5 mm depth is enough for that.

Select right Material

Inner body & shutter are the two component=s of any wardrobe. MDF & plywood are the two options for inner body  and we recommend to go for carcass as it is cost effective.
