Before going toward the successful GRE exam preparation first we should understand what is GRE?

GRE- Graduation Record Examination a standardized test that is a requirement for the admission to the graduation School of America. The GRE is computer-based test aim to examine the verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skill of the participant which develops after a long period of learning.

Structure

GRE test consists 6 sections. First is analytical and argument task, and other five section includes two verbal reasoning, two quantitative reasoning, and experimental and research section.

Verbal Section

A verbal test score is 130-170 on the scale and consists reading comprehension, critical reasoning, and vocabulary usage. Each verbal section is of 30 question having 4 sentence equivalence, 6 text compilations, and 10 critical reading completions.

Quantitative Section

The quantitative reasoning test score is 130-170 on the scale. It requires basic mathematics and reasoning of high school level. Each quantitative section consists 20 question to be done in 35 minutes, having 3 data interpretation, 8 quantitative compressions and 9 problem-solving items.

Analytical Section:

This section is determined by graduation. It is grad3ed from)to 6 on the score scale. It consists writing of two essays on issue task and argument task. The specially designed word processing program from ETS is used while writing an essay on the computer.

• Issue Task:

It contains the essay writing in 30 minutes on issue topic that is selected from the published topic of the GRE program.

• Argument Task:

In this task, a argument topic is given to with the conclusion and asked to write the essay in which the candidate write how this situation can be improved. This section is of 30 minutes and the argument is selected from the topic published by GRE program.

Experimental section

The experimental section does have any effect on the score it is for the improvement in ETS program. The experiment section contains vocabulary and the quantitative questions that ETS considering for a feature.

The Successful Way to Crack the GRE Examination

The student should consider some steps to clear the test. These steps are as follows.

• Revising the Basic of High School.

High school math plays an important role the candidate is preparing for GRE. The candidate should revise the concepts of the algebra, geometry, and quant. The algebra and geometry make base for the higher studies so it is very important for the candidate to clear the candidate basic from high school.

• Working Hard on Vocabulary.

The level of the verbal for the GRE is very high as compared to the mathematics section. IT consist a verbal of the graduation and honors in English so the candidate have spent a lot of time on a dictionary to improve the candidate vocabulary and reading ability to score well in the verbal section.

The GRE test is differently designed as compared to studies in college. It is not necessary that every person develops critical thinking skills in the school or college.
