One of the most common enquiries that often elevator installation firms receive is regarding the safety features in their elevators.

This enquiry is more common from people getting a residential elevator installed as they are more likely to be used as compared to commercial elevators.

However, these companies make sure that irrespective of whether residential or commercial elevators, the safety features are as per the standards mentioned in the rule books.

There are numerous safety features that they include in the elevators for their safe and secure operations.

This post here will familiarise you with some of the top features you can enjoy in your residential and commercial lifts.

EMERGENCY LOWERING DEVICE -

The agencies make sure that this does not happen at any cost, but in case there is some accidental power failure and emergency battery failure also, there is an emergency flooring device installed to allow passengers to reach the nearest floor downwards.

As soon as the nearest floor arrives, the emergency battery will work to open the door and allow passengers to exit the lift safely. This feature is available at no extra elevator installation cost.

EMERGENCY LIGHTING SYSTEM -

An emergency lighting system is also available in these elevator installations for residential and commercial facilities. In the event of power failure, this emergency setting system will automatically illuminate the interiors with the help of an emergency battery system.

The benefit of this feature is that it will prevent the opening of the hoistway door from the lending.

FINAL LIMIT SWITCH -

Right inside the elevator installation cost, you will also get a final limit switch that is used to cut off all the power to the elevator in case of upper normal terminal stopping devices failure.
