Clearz Max Cream for treating melasma, a skin disorder

by Sharron Kane Online Medical Researcher

Clearz Max Cream 15gm is a skin medicine that is primarily used to treat melasma (dark brown patch on skin). Melasma, also known as chloasma or pregnancy mask, is a common skin ailment characterized by brown areas on the face. Women are more likely than men to be impacted. The discolored (grey-brown) patches are typically found on the brow, chin, nose, and cheeks.

Clearz Max Cream 15gm has three medications: fluocinolone acetonide (steroid), hydroquinone (skin lightening or bleaching agent), and tretinoin (a form of Vitamin A or retinoids). Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid that inhibits the generation of chemical messengers (prostaglandins), which cause the skin to become red, puffy, and itching. Hydroquinone is a skin lightening agent that works by reducing the quantity of melanin (a skin pigment) that is responsible for skin darkening. Tretinoin is a retinoid (man-made vitamin A) that works by promoting skin cell renewal, which aids in the natural exfoliation of the skin's outer layers.

  • If you can still see it, you're overdoing it.
  • Keep the medication away from your nose, mouth, eyes, and open wounds. When using it, keep it away from such places.
  • After applying, do not cover the treated area with anything.
  • If your skin becomes excessively inflamed, discontinue the use of CLEARZ MAX and notify your doctor.
  • You can apply a moisturizer after washing your face in the morning to help prevent skin dryness.
  • During the day, you may also apply moisturized rand makeup.
  • Apply sunscreen with an SPF of at least 30 and cover the treated regions with a wide-brimmed hat. If you get burnt, discontinue the use of CLEARZ MAX until your skin heals.

Overdose

Overdoes are rare because Clearz Max Cream is intended for exterior use. However, if you accidentally eat anything, call your doctor or go to the nearest hospital right away. If you over-applied it, use a tissue or cotton to remove the extra medication. Excessive usage over an extended period of time is not recommended because it might cause hormonal difficulties.

How does it work?

Clearz Max Cream is a melasma treatment that combines three medications: hydroquinone, tretinoin, and fluocinolone acetonide (dark spots on the skin). Hydroquinone is a skin-lightening drug. It decreases the quantity of skin pigment (melanin) that causes skin darkening. Tretinoin is a vitamin A derivative that stimulates quicker skin rejuvenation. Fluocinolone acetonide is a steroid that inhibits the generation of chemical messengers (prostaglandins) that cause the skin to become red, puffy, and itching.
