Fashion is something that keeps evolving with time. New trends are unfolded, new styles are embraced and the old ones are forgotten. However, it is interesting to note that there are some attires that do not go out of style, they are simply timeless! Coming to men’s fashion, tuxedos are ensembles that continue to be a favorite choice among men. These are extremely versatile and can be worn on formal, casual and even festive occasions. In earlier times, a black tuxedo made of worsted wool used to be a fashion staple. But over the years, other colors and fabrics starting emerging in the market.

The uniqueness of Tuxedos

One of the most striking features in men’s tuxedos are the lapels. The lapels are never designed with the same fabric as the rest of the garment. A satin or a grosgrain facing is used. Unlike other luxury suiting, tuxedos have only one button. Similarly, they are crafted with a single vent or no vent. The Tuxedo is incomplete without a waistband or a cummerbund. It makes the look sleek and flamboyant. The tuxedo trousers are also stunning. The fabric used in the lapels run down the out-seam. The trousers do not have belt loops and the hems are devoid of cuffs this gives a smooth and sharp look.

Why do men opt for Custom made Tuxedos?

Like any other outfit, fitting is important for Tuxedos too. No matter what fabric you choose, what accessories you wear, if the tuxedo doesn’t fit well it is likely to ruin the whole look. There are various styles of tuxedos to suit different body types such as the traditional fit, modern fit, and the slim fit.

Irrespective of the style you choose, the most important thing is the fitting of the jacket and the trousers. It shouldn’t be too tight or even too loose. The collar should lay flat on the neck, without any gaps and bulges. The jacket sleeves should ideally end with a small portion of your shirt sleeve being visible and the pant must settle across the top of your laces.

The advantages of custom-made clothing are:

Custom made clothing enables you to tweak certain aspects like the neckline, length of the sleeves, the body length etc.

You have the liberty to choose the fabric of your choice.

You can add twists to highlight your personal style.
