Clash of Clans is thus a simple game, but that's more of a strength than a weakness. It's simple enough to provide quick, painless matches on an iPhone in an idle moment, and there are enough different units to choose from in the battle mode to make playing against other players endlessly rewarding. Best of all, the option to fight against NPC goblins gives Clash of Clans a small edge over similar strategy games that rely almost entirely on player-versus-player combat.

The looks of buildings always change as buildings level up, so do the troops. And the environment will be surprisingly decorated whenever there is an international important festival such as Halloween, and Christmas.

Troops in Clash of Clans play a critical role in attacking. Players must build barracks to train troops, each of which has extremely different advantages and disadvantages. For example, archers can attack any target, occupying one housing space, but this unit has less hitpoints than Giant. Of all units (Barbarian, Archer,Goblin, Giant, Wall Breaker, Balloon, Wizard, Healer, Dragon and P.E.K.K.A), Archer is the most favorite one simply because it proves to the best to defend in Clan, effective in attacking, and even in stealing Gold and Elixir.

Gems are a resource primarily gained through in app purchase. There are other ways to obtain gems in Clash of Clans, however, these methods are rather slow in comparison to purchasing them in the Shop. Small amounts of Clash of Clans gems can be obtained by clearing rocks and trees from your village but this is random. Completing achievements also awards gems. In addition, the top players in the top three clans receive gems from the weekly tournament. Lastly, Supercell occasionally holds competitions on their Facebook page for which they award gems to the winners.

A great game often has some minor glitches, so does Clash of Clans. Its matchmaking system is determined by how many trophies a player has. This predefined rule is mostly abused by those Gold farmers who can attack players highly lower than theirs. Another problem is the time of level-up for some building and training take an extremely long time – as long as you can take an overseas travel.
