Have you received a vocation to spiritual life from Jesus? To be a follower of Jesus requires a true Christian vocation. The Christian vocations are God's call to discover how to love as Jesus loves, giving yourself totally to others. You can start living your vocation more fully - and participate in the journey that Jesus presents you as his follower.

The Christian belief that God has given each person strengths and gifts geared toward certain missions and a mode of living is important to the concept of vocation. Love is, in the fullest sense, every individual being's inherent and intrinsic vocation.

In the Catholic Churches, vocation is strongly associated with a heavenly call to assist the Church and compassion by specific vocational life commitments such as wedding to a specific individual, vocational dedication, and an ordination to professional service in the Church, and a sacred life as a single citizen. Christian vocation, in its broadest definition, refers to the application of one's gifts in one's job, home-life, church, and social activities for the higher cause.

Catholic Charities Diocese

Catholic Charities' goal is to empower individuals in need irrespective of race, creed, or ethnicity. They concentrate on the impoverished and marginalized, respecting each individual's right to courtesy and respect.

The Diocese of Catholic Charities increases its funds for Catholic Charities in the sectors of immigration aid, accessibility to the Hispanic/Latino and immigrant demographic, welfare services to the USA community, and pro-life and disability activism and activities.

They broaden their goal to serve as God's hands, offering homes, health care and hope to His children. The Catholic Charities Diocese offers welfare programs to persons of all faiths. The agency's broad mission includes helping unmarried moms and their children, as well as families exploring adoption and other youngsters in need. Their purpose is to help stressed-out families, particularly those with marriage and child-parent issues.
