Cheap Flights to Tokyo

by Jack Smith Digital Marketer

Japan is a land full of mysteries and legends, and Tokyo is reviving it all. Tokyo is the largest city in Japan, rich in history and Japanese culture. Cheap flights to Tokyo can make a trip to the Far East a real option.

Tokyo is full of tourist attractions. It is the headquarters of the Japanese government and the Japanese imperial family. Tokyo is a crowded metropolis with a population of over thirty-nine million. Tokyo is actually made up of twenty-three elderships and many remote islands. Tokyo is a wonderful place to visit for the sake of history, and Tokyo has existed in one way or another since the beginning of the fourteen hundred. With a history of more than fifteen hundred years, you will see that this city is phenomenal. Visiting historic buildings should be your first trip on the itinerary when you visit Tokyo.

Transporting the city of Tokyo from one place to another is fast and efficient in public transportation systems. There are metros, monorails, and buses that take passengers from one destination to another. Some attractions are minutes away by metro. It is necessary to see the Imperial Palace.

The Imperial Palace and its park-like surroundings are right next to Tokyo Station. The palace was built in the late eighteenth century and demolished during World War II, and then rebuilt as it had in earlier glory times. The Japanese emperor calls the imperial palace a home base. The buildings are not what you would expect from a palace, but are rich in history and well worth the time to visit.

The Nijubashi Bridge is located in the territory of the Imperial Palace and is said to be the most photographed building in all of Japan. Her image adorns postcards, calendars, and greeting cards around the world. The foundations of the former castle tower remain in the eastern gardens of the Imperial Palace complex, the original castle tower for the line of defense was built on the site of sixteen to thirty-eight and was the tallest castle tower in Japanese history. The Eastern Gardens are open to the public. The Imperial Palace is not open to the public, but special tours are available for visitors, although advance booking is recommended.

Ginza Kabuki Theater is another great attraction in Tokyo. This theater of twenty-five hundred seats is a return to the Middle Ages. Kabuki is a traditional form of Japanese theater, vibrant and colorful. Unlike American theater, coming in and out during a performance is not rude. This may be due to the fact that these shows are usually very long (up to six hours and sometimes longer), so getting up when you want and going out is perfectly acceptable.

Twenty-three Tokyo wards have ancient temples and, of course, the back of Mount Fuji is in the background of all the sights.

Cheap flights to Tokyo are a great way to experience Tokyo in all its glory without spending a ton of money.
