Africa is a rich and diverse continent with a vibrant and thriving culture to boot.  Africa is home to many peoples, cultures and regions of the world. It is said that the story of humanity started in Africa. Africa is home to almost every type of people.

African Culture:

Like every proud culture around the world, Africa also boosts of its own culture, its own heritage and its own clothing and cuisine. Apart from that, African folk dances and festivals are celebrated the world over with much fanfare.  Many people come to Africa to take part in many festivities that happen around the year. These festivities happen annually in Africa.  Most of the festivities see variance based on tribe and geographical distinctions. Many people of the African Diaspora bring their own culture with them to their new country.

It is important to recognize that many people recognize Africans by their culture. Many prominent African artists are celebrated world over for their singing, dancing or other cultural activities.  Many Africans have won over prestigious prizes and performed at many important venues and in front of distinguished crowds.

African Clothing:

A prominent mark and aspect of African culture is African clothing and African fabrics.  African clothing is defined by its all encompassing aspects, its colors and styles and its texture and designs. African clothing is made by hand and by machinery.

African clothing comes in many shapes and sizes. As does African American fabrics. Many African clothing lines are available for purchase.  One of the most distinct things about African clothing is how colorful and shapely the African clothing is. There is also great variety in texture. African clothing comes in many types: Suits, muumuus, female gear, head gears and ties.  Georges and blouses along with footwear and other accessories. Over the time African clothing has incorporated many cultures and clothing styles that came in interaction with African clothing.

Many African clothing styles come with various types of fabrics such as silk, plain clothing, cotton and lace fabrics such as Aaron lace and Swiss lace and many types of wax prints.
