CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 – The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the exam for Class 10th for 2016 in the month of March 2016. Around 15 lakhs students appeared in the CBSE HSE in 2016. As per the declaration made by the CBSE in a pre-exam statement, the CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 is likely to be announced in the month of May 2016. The following are the steps to check the CBSE Result 2016 for 10th online:

  • Visit the official website for CBSE class 10th Result 2016
  • Enter your various particulars such as Roll Number, Name, Mother’s name, Father’s name, Date of Birth, Subject Code, Name of the Subject, Marks/Grade obtained in the relevant boxes
  • Press the submit button
  • Download the Result and get the copy thereof
  • Keep the copy of the result cum scorecard for future reference.

Checking the CBSE Result 2016 via SMS

The candidates can also get the CBSE 10th Result 2016 on their mobiles, i.e. via SMS with nominal charges.

Checking the Result 2016 via IVRS

This Result can also be checked via IVRS, i.e. through Interactive Voice Response System. To avail of this facility, the fixed calling rate charges or toll free is applicable.

Analysis of CBSE Class 10th Result 2016

The analysis of CBSE Class 10th Result 2016 is published by the Directorate of Education after the declaration of the result. In the year 2016-17, the number of students who got registered for the CBSE 10th Exams increased by 9.12% from that of the last year.
Last year, the CBSE 10th Result was announced on 28th May. Moreover, around 97% students of the 10th class passed in exam. The same for the years 2012, 2013 and 2014 was 97.86%, 98.19% and 97.32% respectively. It is expected that for the year 2016-17, the pass percentage for CBSE 10th Class will be 99.06%. Therefore, it is expected that this year result is likely to surpass that of the previous year.
