In 2002, he founded the company called Tiger Informatics which developed the much acclaimed Gizmondo hand held gaming device. He later went on to establish another company called Aluminaid which developed the revolutionary metal based bandages which proved to be effective in treating first and second degree burns. Aluminaid is continuing to develop newer products in the medical industry. Carl Freer shifted his focus to mobile technology next. He is currently developing a product which uses augmented reality technology which would allow mobile users to connect to the website of the company whose logo they capture with their phone camera. He is also a well-known Philanthropist as he had established the Freer Family Tree Foundation which helps underprivileged children throughout their childhood and adolescence.
