As a Cabin Crew, you will be required to work in shifts. These shifts may span from mornings till late nights. The work may continue even on weekends and holidays. The training will also prepare you to fly for long-haul. You will be trained to accustom your body clock as getting a full night’s sleep will not happen always. At times, you might have to sleep in morning hours. The scope of cabin crew also entails flying across different time zones. You might get to experience fatigue and jetlag.
The environment for working as a cabin crew will also be quite demanding. You will have restricted cabin space. The area where refreshments and meals are made is not too large. Most of your time will be spent running from galley to the remaining part of the cabin. You will have to spend a lot of your time on feet, catering to the passengers’ needs. The cabin crew training will prepare you for all these rigors and demand physical requirements.
You will have a uniform to wear and must look well-groomed every time. All this will be a part of your cabin crew training. It’s much more than just being glamorous.
