While summer and fall are the most popular times of the year for visitors around the world to visit Napa Valley, winter brings a more relaxed, cosy and tranquil atmosphere to Grgich Hills Estate. It's a Cabernet Season. The weather is chillier and the sun sets earlier, but there is no better time of year to taste and absorb that famous Napa Cabernet Sauvignon in its full glory. From November to April, wine lovers can experience our vineyards and the rest of Napa Valley from a more intimate perspective.

Escape the Crowds

From late fall to early spring, the roads, hotels and other attractions in Napa Valley seemingly go back in time to an era when the region wasn't a world-famous destination. Visitors can take their time to fully appreciate everything from the magnificent orange and yellow foliage to the majestic hillsides to a glass of Napa Chardonnay. Fewer crowds not only mean less traffic and congestion at wineries but lower prices on everything from hotels to rental cars. Did we mention that it almost never snows?
