Imports Data of India revealed that in December 2020, goods worth US 42.6 billion dollars had been imported. Imports that were made in 2020 had surpassed the value of 2019 by reaching an all-time high position. In the month of April of 2020, products worth 17.12 billion dollars were imported, which showed the lowest amount to be imported in the year. This was all due to the pandemic situation of coronavirus that was prevailing in India and other countries. The top trading partners that India has include:
- China at the top with a percentage share of 16.78% and exporting value of US$ 70.32.
- The United States of America with 6% and exporting value of US$ 35.55.
- The United Arab Emirates with 6% and exporting value of US$ 35.55.
- Saudi Arabia with 5% and exporting value of US$ 28.48
- Switzerland with 5% and exporting value of US$ 28.48.
