Former Washington Bullet Cheap Jordans Manute Bol Dies at 47

Manute Bol, the Dinka tribesman from the Sudan in Africa who gained fame as a player for the Washington Bullets in the NBA, died today at the University of Virginia Medical Center in Charlottesville. He was 47 years old.

According to the Washington Post, Manute http://www.airjordanhot.com/index.php Bol cousin George said he died of liver failure and other complications of StevensJohnson syndrome. Bol developed StevensJohnson syndrome due to a medication he received after returning home to the Sudan after retiring from the NBA.

Manute Bol disorder is often caused by a reaction to medication. StevensJohnson syndrome starts with flulike symptoms, then is followed by a painful reddish or purplish rash that spreads and blisters. The top level of the skin ends up dying off and falling away.

Hospitalization is often required for StevensJohnson syndrome. Recovery is possible depending on the severity of the reaction. Unfortunately for Manute Bol, his reaction proved too severe for the doctors to be able to save him.

During his NBA career, Bol played for the Washington Bullets (twice), the Golden State Warriors (twice), the Philadelphia 76ers Air Jordan (twice) and the Miami Heat. During that time, Manute Bol became 2nd in career blockspergame average, fourteenth in total blocked shots, and the only player in NBA history to block more shots than points scored (2,086 versus 1,599).

Manute Bol also performed many charitable works during the course of his life. He established the Ring True Foundation to provide support for Sudanese refugees and donated most of his fortune to the cause. Much of his postNBA sports appearances, from Celebrity Boxing in Jordans For Sale 2002 to a brief stint as a jockey, were devoted to raising awareness and funds for his home country problems.
