Bryan Barberena Vs Leon Edwards Fight At UFC Fight Night 115

September 2 was a great event between two fighters in the Octagon as Bryan Barberena and Leon Edwards face it off in the Ultimate Fighting Championship welterweight class at UFC Fight Night 115 in Rotterdam, Netherlands. It was a three winning streak fight on Edwards before the fight happened between Barberena and such win made fans focused their eyes on him. Edwards will be facing Barberena who is known to be a tough contender and Edwards is hoping to give a show to their fans and a challenge to Barberena.

Not so long ago, Barberena was the underdog and he was known for it until now that he gets a chance to prove it in the Octagon against Edwards and could possibly push his career to the top. Edwards is very skilled and is a talented fighter and with such ability, he was able to get the most of their fight with his superior long kicks and jabs. Although there was a couple of trade shots between the fighters, Edwards had the upper hand.

And as the fight progresses, he [Edwards] was trying to do a takedown and a choke to Barberena, although not successful, Edwards took the dominant position on the ground and did more damage to Barberena in the opening round. Moving on the second round, Barberena became aggressive and move in advance to subdue Edwards but unfortunately, it didn’t much damage to his opponent. Edwards was more than composed and made sure that he was able to counter and defend himself against Barberena’s attacks.

Although Barberena is not to be taken lightly especially that he can pack up a nasty power punch and or hand strikes but then he wasn’t able to take down Edwards. Edwards took his time and strategized well and at the end of the bout, he reigns victor over Barberena which is a big upset to him [Barberena] and his team.
