editing, he actually creates original interpretation of specific characters in
the films. His sound library named as the Ultimate FX is one of the most state

before coming up with the sound of “T-Rex” and other dinosaurs heard in the
movie Jurassic Park. He is in the habit of mixing different sounds to create new
sounds. He did the same to produce the sound of T-Rex eating. This sound is the
amalgam of sounds of a lion eating a bone, male lion’s growl, lion breathing, a
lion tearing flesh and an elephant roar.
His has shown his
creativity and technical skills in swoosh in the Superman’s flight, the hiss in
Snakes on a plane, swirling sound in the web-shooting of Spiderman. He has the
credit of creating sound effects of booms, pops, bangs and blasts of firepower
in the movies like True Lies, The Fantastic Four, Transformers, Miami vice, The
Incredible Hulk, and Night at the Museum.
Brice Carrington designed
his own sound packages by employing sound effects of real animals because it
inculcated originality in the character. Working with animals make the process
complicated but finally the product is more exciting and appealing to the
viewers. He went to the field to get the required sound effects which he wanted
to incorporate in any movie.
In the recognition of his
creative skills he was given 3 Oscars for “Jurassic Park”, “King Kong”, and
“Ghost and the Darkness.” He is the creator of sound effects of many blockbuster
films including Blade, Superman Returns, Transformers, The Blood Hunt, Shrek 3,
and Night at the Museum etc.
He is the first among
African Americans whose sound library gets that much recognition that enables
him to obtain worldwide distribution deal. He made software “Baidans Mixer”
which would enable its users to create their own original sounds of home made
movies. Working for years as sound engineer enables him to create some very
unique sounds which he wants to share with the world also. Through Baidan’s
Mixer anyone can create professional sound effects in their movies and can
share with their friends and family. He is also a part of TV project named
Preacher Man. He is a man who loves to design great sound effects in his movies
and can go to any extent to impart originality to his work. He is not afraid of
