3.    A Large area of land will be affected by blasting, preparation of tailing ponds, the crusher plant area etc.

4.    The chemicals such as mercury and cyanide are used in pitting and these will surely very harmful for the plants, trees, and animals and human.

5.    Sometimes mining is also responsible for landslides and soil erosion and landslides cause many people death and loss of wealth as well.

6.    Mining chemicals also makes soil not suitable for the planting and harvesting.

Damage done by removal can not be restored by any other process within the duration. Now we come to the role of Brett Matich. Why he gets so much respect and honor in the field of mining.
