Break these 4 Traditional Designing Rules to be a Better Designer

by Cult Mode Turnkey Interior Contractors & Firms in Delhi ncr
They say that rules are meant to be broken. This is the secret of many successful interior designers. Often, sticking to rules is not the best thing to do. As a beginner who started with office interiors in Delhi, I would not deny the fact that the basic designing principles gave me the idea of ‘where and how to begin’. Though there is no harm in ditching a few rules and making your spaces more professional and welcoming. Following the rules made by someone else can be too monotonous and challenging. It is better to introduce your design book and forget some of these basic designing acts:

Kick ‘Symmetry’ off Your Mind: If you are planning for the asymmetrical design, then think again. Perfectly symmetrical design can add a dull appearance to the working environment. Instead of symmetry, focus on balance. Also, asymmetry will help the visitors and customers to grab their attention in a jiggy.

Mix Colours and Spaces:
There is a secret that no big designer shall reveal. It is that colours and spaces play a significant role in designing. Try painting the workplace with a dark hue. Furthermore, you have to factor in the space and lighting before picking the right colours. Be clear as what brand message you intend to deliver through your colour combinations. Bright shades may not be as appealing as the dark ones. Make the right choice and change outdated interiors.

‘No high Contrast Rules’, please: Many experts claim that contrasts can do the trick. But, this is not always the case. Painting the wall with contrast colours can make other objects in the room unnoticeable. There is no necessity to go with ‘high contrasts.’ Rather going off the limit could be overwhelming, so, switch to contrasts in small spaces. You need to understand that professional and personal spaces are entirely different from one another. So, consider the space before starting.

Big Furniture and Small Spaces: Entered a small workplace with multiple small furniture spread across? It did look uncomfortable and congested. Right? There is a false assumption that if one puts small couches and desks, then it would create a better illusion. However, this arrangement makes the place seem smaller. The basic idea is to create a visual balance between large and small pieces of furniture. I have worked with some flawless office interior designers in Gurgaon and learnt the secrets behind a perfect office space.

You might have been clear with the rules that have to be broken. Designing is an art more than a science. Feel free to break the rules and implement yours.
