The box packing contains the Left and Right side Roof Rail. Please open the box which is marked left, it contains 3 black metal adapters. Take them out one by one out of the box.

The middle adapter is marked with “mR” and you can confirm this by looking under the adapter. The rest of the two adapters which are marked as “mL” go at each end. These are adapters for the Porsche Cayenne Roof Rail. Under Cayenne there are Red Arrows which tell that you can slide your black metal adapter here using the track.

The two step process involves:

1.       Inserting both “mL” adapters on each end.

2.       Insert the middle adapter

Note: The allen bolt which is located on the side of the adapter must be facing the inside on the roof. There is only one way these adapters can be installed. The allen head which on the side must face on the inside for proper fixing.

Once all three adapters are in place, you have to set the roof rail on the adapters and set it accordingly. The curve of the roof rail must match the roof line. After you have fit it in the right position, please remove the roof rail and tighten all three adapters. The allen bolt which is located on the inside of each adapter has to be tightened till the time adapter no longer moves.

Finally please keep the roof rail on the adapters. Finally please tighten the side bolts by passing through the roof rail holes. After all the tightening please install the three plastic caps on each rail.  You will find that there are three different cap sizes. The front hole is meant for the smallest one, the middle hole is meant for the medium. The last rear hole has the largest one in it.
