BLACKS AND NETWORK MARKETING
When it comes to African Americans and network marketing, for the most part most of them are afraid of it. Not all of them, I know some African Americans in my home based business that are top earners and are doing very well. But from the African Americans I've spoken to about my business, they act like I was holding them at gunpoint or talking about their mothers. And I'm not talking about the simple "oh they've been brainwashed to get out of school, get a job and yayayayaya." I'm talking about mainly avoiding me after I've exposed to them what my home based business is about.
And no, I don't throw up my business opportunity in their faces I wait until they talk about a problem they've been having. Maybe they're starting to hate their jobs, they way they've been treated at their jobs, they're not being paid what they're worth. I would tell them a little bit about what my home business is and that they should either come to a meeting with me, or sit down with me to watch a video about it. Some of them would say yes, they make up every excuse in the world as to why they can't go to a meeting with me. I would expose them to a video, only for them to act like they're in the witness protection program or my all time favorite, they would ask me ALL KINDS OF QUESTIONS before even looking at any kind of reading material. They don't want to see a video, not a pamphlet, not a meeting, nothing they want all their questions answered right then and there. And I'm like "Why, why don't you just ask me how many sex partners I've had throughout my life if you're going to ask me all that?"
I really don't see the big deal, if they're not interested then fine I'll move on to other people but I'm tired of chasing people around that are too scared and not serious about wanting better for themselves. There are people in other countries that are literally hungry AND thirsty for an opportunity to make more money. Don't be afraid to invest in yourselves, because heaven forbid no one else will.
