BJantiques, Wordpress Expert

Permit me a few privileges for naming BJ a wordpress expert, a nomenclature he has not taken for himself. I should be permitted or, even excused to bestow this name on Bjantiques because of the way and manner he assisted me.

I had written an article yesterday about my wordpress blog, http://nnamdiagha.com which developed a problem as a result of a plugin I added last Friday which stiffed my blog and made it impossible for me to access my admin area of the blog with the effect that I could not post articles or edit articles or even view my blog stats, an action I carry out several times a day.

I sent a save my blog article which received several responses. However, BJ responded that he would assist me solve the problem at no charge to me. That is, he was going to assist me free of charge. He only required me to connect with him on skype, which I did right away.

To cut the very long story short, after two whole hours of work, he informed me that he had solved the problem. Meanwhile, while he was working, we were in constant touch on the skype; he was asking questions or seeking explanations and I was answering or explaining.

After all said and done, he said that he had finished and that I should test it. The outcome was the same after I tried logging in. However, I had to close for the day and go home.

However, this morning when I logged in, I had full and unfettered access to my admin area and was able to post an article I had written since last week when I first noticed the problem.

I want to thank Bjantiques for this kind gesture. It is not everyday that you get people on the internet who want to do things for you for free - and BJ was on this job for over two hours.

I want to encourage you to share your problems here for you have experts who will go out of their way to assist you for free. Even if you are charged, you will be getting good service for your money.

Bj has been helping members on this site since the beginning often for free and with no expectation of gain. I suggest before people start jumping on the 'hating on bjantiques' bandwagon they get to know him. They might just find out the basis of that bandwagon has more to do with sour grapes. Bill Brown has been proving himself day in and day out on this site for 4 years now, I think that far outweighs any sour grapes.

lol @Cheryl hey I would miss it. I find it shows up the ones that don't know the first thing about marketing etiquette and ethics. After all all they are doing is crying about some one making them follow the rules. I know a lot more than most give me credit for. guaranteed that only the ones that read this will know I run training sessions for various things concerned with marketing, with the emphasis on ethical practices.

Wow.. I'm impressed. and actually had to share this on my facebook page. I had a friend contact me this morning who's blog has completely disappeared due to an upgrade from his hosting service, and he is devastated. I sent him these links in the hope that BJ could somehow help him as well. WTG BJ! awesome job. You are the bomb.

Adding a comment is a nice way to get new readers to an article, as it appears again on network feeds of your contacts. Abuse is not ok, but if the comment adds a bit of info, I believe it's ok.
