Biker & Motorcycle club patches are a mark of a biker's esteem

Motorcycle club patches or biker patches represent various aspects of a biker, his club and membership with the club. Bikers take pride and honor in wearing patches. They are of various types and are usually placed inside a leather vest.

Biker patches represent a biker's club membership

Motorcycle club patches, biker patches are specially worn by expert bikers and they represent a revered club membership. They indicate the membership of motorcycle cub members that is very honorable to them. There are various meanings that these patches signify are there are also many different types of patches. The first type is called the association patches that are used very popularly. They usually have a single piece. Another type is the biker club and they contain two pieces. Both type of patches are placed inside the vest made of leather at the backside which is kept in the center. The ideal position of the leather vest is under the blades of the shoulder. They have the name or logo of the biker club. Some patches contain the name of the cub as well as its logo. The patches that are given annually generally have the duration of the membership of the biker with the club. Bikers feel highly esteemed when they have a patch to wear.

Road biker patches

There is another variety of motorcycle club patches, biker patches that have the name and title of a road displayed on them. They indicate a biker's position that he holds in a club, such as a President, Vice president, secretary, sergeant etc. These positions indicate the role that particular plays in the motorcycle club. Road biker patches have the biker's real name or his or her nick name displayed on them. A nick name or a moniker is a type of recognition that a biker has been given by a motorcycle club or it may also be a personally chosen one. Bikers wear this type of patches on the left of the vest on the upper side of the heart.

Other important type of biker patches

Yet another type of motorcycle club patches, biker patches is memorial patches which are given to bikers as a reward in remembrance of deceased club members. There is no rule as to where these patches should be attached. They can be tied anywhere on the vest. There are also travel club patches that indicate the place from where bikers come. They also serve as a souvenir of an important place or a memorable event. Bikers who take part in charity are awarded charity motorcycle club patches. Other types of patches that are popularly used are pins or rally badges, flag patches and outlaw patches. Apart from the types of motorcycle patches mentioned here, there are many new types that are emerging. Whatever type a biker may use, he or she takes pride and esteem in wearing it.
