Big Update! Google Drive users can now view MS Office Password Protected Files

by Maria William Software Developer

Yes, you read that right! Google has recently updated its Drive application for Android devices and brought in many small but important updates. The America-based company has decided to allow its customers to view the password protected documents or Microsoft Office.

You can download and check these password-protected Microsoft Office files (something that was not possible) without entering any password. Not just this, you can also share these documents with your colleagues through Google Drive. This will intensify working in groups with the co-workers sitting miles away from you.

In short, you will not be restricted to work on a single document provided by Google or Microsoft. This is really surprising for the customers of these two rival companies. The companies are joining hands to offer their potential customers best of the technology. That’s the reason customers are happy and excited with this minor update.

With this update, Google has also added few bug fixes and improvements for the enhancing the experience of the customers. However, there are no such details of other updates available. So, get your Google Drive updated and enjoy this feature!
