Canadian singer and multi-cultural and polyglot model, Betta Lemme is one of those handfuls personality whose name would be big in the future. She was born on 30th April, 1993 in Montreal, Canada but belongs to Italian origins while lives between Paris and New York. She speaks and sings in three languages, English, Italian and French and on top of that she mostly writes and produces of her own songs. Since two years of age, she has been playing the piano although she had left classical studies to focus on her greatest love. Despite having a penchant for Italian music and a background that ranges from Abba to Dalida, she started dancing.

Career

She gained widespread attention and became known to wider audience in July 2016 as she released a single “Awoo” in association with American DJ duo Sofi Tukker. Till the date, it has garnered about 200 million views already on the YouTube and this count is rapidly increasing day by day. Later, she released an original mix of contagious melodies, combined with the power of the vaguely 1960s American Pop sound and oriental atmospheres. It is called “Bambola”, her debut single released on 10th November 2017 and later performed the same on RAI 1’s Che tempo che fa. Talking about bambola she said,

"It is an anthem for anyone who has ever felt treated as an object and put aside, a stimulus for people who do not want to feel useless and who want to react. This is the first of 4 tracks that will be part of an EP due out in 2018.”

Personal Life

Betta belongs to Italian-Canadian ancestry as her parents originated from Italy. Her grandmother was a rapper and considered as the greatest during that time and generation. Talking about her dating or relationship then she is single and no such reports available either in the past or present. Betta quite often shares photos of men on her Instagram but it quite naturally that being a part of the male dominated industry, you have to manage with such things.

She did try modelling at the age of 17 before getting famous and she is multi-talented. She has been signed by Ultra Music that is the reason, most of her songs were released under the same label.
