Institute of Business Management and Research (IBMR), Gurgaon is one of the better MBA Colleges in the National Capital Region. I have had the opportunity to interact with various students in MBA Colleges by virtue of being in the field of student counseling.  In my interaction with the students from time to time it has emerged based on student feedback and analysis that IBMR, Gurgaon is one of the best MBA Colleges from all angles especially from the point of view of teaching, extracurricular activities infrastructure and overall college environment.

IBMR, Gurgaon is a part of the reputed IBMR group of business colleges with its other sister colleges being located at Bangalore, Hubli and Ahmedabad.  Gurgaon today has become a hub for multinational corporations (MNCs) as a majority of them have set up their offices in Gurgaon. With IBMR, Gurgaon being located in Gurgaon and given its past relationship with the Companies located in Gurgaon, the College facilitates easy and good placements in the companies and MNCs located in Gurgaon.

 I have visited IBMR, Gurgaon and I have found that it has very good infrastructure. It is housed in a modern building which is fully air conditioned with large classrooms.  The College has an excellent library and computer laboratory. The College offers University recognized MBA programmes from Bharathiar, Mysore and Maharishi Dayanand Universities. The programmes are fully residential and the College arranges for suitable boarding and lodging facilities for all its students. The College also organizes a foreign educational tour in the second year of the programme to enable students to gain insight into working in cross cultural settings and practically experience learnings abroad.  Apart from the above, the College conducts industrial visits, sight- seeing and cultural tours and adventure programs so as to widen the horizon of the students. These enabling features help to empower students to fit in better in the business environment upon graduation. The College also has very qualified and committed faculty who provide excellent teaching input to students, as well as, guide the students in their project assignments.

The College also has excellent placement record.  It’s Placement Cell in conjunction with the student representatives on the body, constantly interact with the industry to ensure that all their students get wholesome and fulfilling placements with the industry on graduation as well as for summer internship programmes.
