Batch transportation of oil by seamless steel pipe

Batch transportation of oil is another way for finished oil transportation by seamless steel pipe or carbon steel pipe.

Definition of batch transportation: According to a certain batch and order, different types of oil was transported by continuous delivery in a same pipeline. Or we can call it alter transportation, mixed transportation.

Apply background: Due to the various demands for oil in trade market, so that there are different oils for customers. Thus, batch transportation is here for oil products such as gasoline, diesel and aviation kerosene, as well as low pour point crude oil.

Advantages for batch transportation: First, it would cost project investment and transportation cost by producing separate pipeline for every kind of oil's transportation. So economic method is transporting a variety oil along the same larger diameter pipeline under sequential delivery at the same direction. In addition, for untreated crude oil, because of different origin which makes the difference in technical parameters. We would also often use sequential delivery to meet the needs of different quality oil refineries.
