Barriers for Women Entrepreneurs in Bangladesh
Women living in Bangladesh are
facing almost the similar challenges as the women of other countries. There are
several barriers and restrictions which have to be faced by the women of Bengal
specially living in the rural areas.

There are many girls and women living in different areas where they have to face violence and even worse situations that no can image. They are just considered slaves who have to just fulfill the orders of their parents and get busy in the household tasks and after their marriages their husbands rule their minds.
Even today, one of the women of this world including Bangladesh is that they are not allowed to go to school.
How any countries can develop where the females are not allowed to be educated?
There are numerous barriers that are being faced by the women of Bangladesh and that might be the cause of slow pace in the development of different countries. Mostly, women face different obstacles and hurdles in the country which keep them away from growing and flourishing.
1. Education is one of the major obstacles that have been keeping the Bangladeshi girls away getting knowledge. The girls are not given importance for sending them to schools and thus, they remain ignorant and of course create a big gap in development in the country. The economic prosperity without the proper education is not possible, especially if the women are left behind with the education and learning.
2. The women working for supporting their families are given low wages or even underpaid as compared to the men. The hard struggles of the women are in vain when they are not given reasonable amount as wages after performing complete work. They also have to endure from the illegal pay deductions from their ruling employers.
3. The working women in Bangladesh are facing the worse working conditions and do not have right to use for safe and hygienic conditions including nuisance free environment. They have to face the unsafe transportation and have to suffer a great deal to reach to their destinations.
4. Even the educated women entrepreneurship and entrepreneurs in Bangladesh are unable to get access to markets and they have very little admittance to Bangladeshi market. They are restricted and are not allowed to work or trade self-confidently, productively and creatively.
Today, the Bangladeshi women whether they are educated or not are keen to support their families by starting their self businesses that can be run from their homes. Almost, every daughter of the world wishes to contribute their services to make their parents and family live better lives. So, they start their own setup according to their working interest or by utilizing their creativity at which they find themselves good at.
The women living in different areas in Bangladesh are trying their efforts to use their skills and artistic capabilities to work and support their families by working in different ways growing crops, stitching and repairing dresses, design fashion dresses, making clay cookware, pots and pans to be used in the kitchen, making different handicrafts items, gifts and home décor and interior design etc.
This way, they think that they can be fruitful in contributing their efforts to console their parents and husbands. Still, the half of the women entrepreneurs belonging to various independent businesses say that they are not even have the freedom to take the decisions for the welfare of their family or even for their own lives.
